TOSS commenced operations on 21 October 1993, when our first shop opened in Far East Plaza. Our focus has primarily been on the sale of ladies fashionwear.
In time, our business grew and we set up our own factory in Bali, Indonesia. Subsequently, in 2008, we also started designing, producing and selling yoga wear.
As the saying goes, the devil’s in the details. As such, we pay particular attention to every step of the designing and manufacturing of our clothes, and this of course extends to (amongst others) the selection of premium fabrics (mostly from Japan, Europe and USA), the washing of fabrics prior to cutting to minimise subsequent shrinkage, the individual cutting of each piece to ensure symmetry, as well as the multiple rounds of testing and revisions of each sample before production.
Having been in the industry for more than 20 years, we also know and fully understand the importance of quality and individual style. We therefore make only a few pieces (per size) for each and every article we design and manufacture. In fact, for our tie-dye fabrics, these are not purchased off the rack, but instead, we purchase plain fabrics and get them custom tie-dyed.
